Conservation Theory, upstate South Carolina’s home spun Appalachian folk band pours forth tunes of the heart, spinning tales through original song writing, taking the listener on a trip through the mountains and valleys, through the ditches and wastelands, and through a spiritual visitation gleaned from the viewpoint of three contributing song writers. Old style vocal harmony lifts the tales that are then supported by the Appalachian instrumentation, delivered in a haunting and revealing style that speaks from the back porch, the mountain bog, the moonshine still and the river of life!
