The band hasn't stopped writing and recording over the past year, tracking two new albums at Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville in 2020. -

Mac moved to Chicago and Muddy Waters hired him on the spot. He toured and recorded with the Muddy Waters Band and recorded LPs with Otis Spann and John Lee Hooker. Mac moved to Los Angeles and produced Soul Train with his friend Don Cornelius. He even played bass on the Sanford & Son television show when he wasn't playing bass for Otis Redding and B.B. King. He retired from show business to be an organic farmer. Mac is back with his own band and a "plate full" of CDs, building a new foundation in blues, soul and funk. -

August 19, 2023 8:00 pm$15 a seat/must reserve entire table - tables are limited // Standing room and outdoors advanced tickets $15 -sold ind individually-- $18 Day of Show- Pretty Little Goat formed in 2013 through their common love of the deep well of local tradition found in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Pretty Little Goat sees traditional music as a living art form; vibrant and evolving. At the center of the group is the husband-and-wife team of Josh and Mallory Carter. After a youth marked by steady touring all around the world, they have now settled down on a farm in the country where they are raising three children, tending cows, and writing songs. The Carters have collaborated with fellow Goats Owen Grooms on banjo and JT Linville on bass, with Josh on mandolin and Mallory percussing on a washboard. Jackson Dulaney has been a powerful addition to the group, rounding out the sound with dobro playing as good as any of the best. -
