Pretty Little Goat formed in 2013 through their common love of the deep well of local tradition found in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Pretty Little Goat sees traditional music as a living art form; vibrant and evolving.
At the center of the group is the husband-and-wife team of Josh and Mallory Carter. After a youth marked by steady touring all around the world, they have now settled down on a farm in the country where they are raising three children, tending cows, and writing songs. The Carters have collaborated with fellow Goats Owen Grooms on banjo and JT Linville on bass, with Josh on mandolin and Mallory percussing on a washboard. Jackson Dulaney has been a powerful addition to the group, rounding out the sound with dobro playing as good as any of the best.
Their debut self-titled album released in 2016 presents unique interpretations of old-time songs and tunes along with original material.
The Goats' second album, "Let The Sun Shine In," is full of groovy original music that is "as close as we will ever be to our past while being as current as we need it to be" (Mike Ashworth, Steep Canyon Rangers)."

Recent venues and festivals include: Mountain Song Festival, Merlefest, Charlotte Whitewater Center, Steccoah Valley Performing Arts Center, Isis Music Hall, The Grey Eagle, Asheville Cider Fest, Sierra Nevada Brewery (NC), Oskar Blues Brewery (NC), almost every brewery in the Asheville area, Firefly Festival (Delaware), South Carolina State Fiddler's competition, White Squirrel Festival, Barley's Knoxville, WNCW Studio B.
For this show tickets for the front room, directly in front of the stage are sold as table reservations. When you purchase a table you are purcahsing tickets for the number of seats at the table. One additional seat can be added to each table. For example, if you buy a two top but have three people in your party we can add a chair onto the table. You can purchase the additional ticket the evening of the show. For the rest of the space we are selling general admission/standing room tickets. If you purchase a general admission ticket you can stand anywhere in the space between the front bar and the seated area as well as the backyard (behind the stage) which is open weather permitting. There are tables and chairs available in the backyard at a first come, first served basis.
In order to purchase a ticket decide in which area you would like to sit and then click the "tickets" button above. You may have to go back and forth a bit if your preferred table is no longer avaiable. If the only ticket you see is "general admission" that means the tables are sold out.
