$35 Registration Fee --- Online registration is cut off. If you would like to join us for the ride you can register in the morning at the depot. Please arrive by 8:00 am to do so. The ride begins at 8:30. Laps of Bracken Fundraising mountain bike Ride to help buy 34 Acres and build 2-3 miles of easier trails (Collaboration between the City of Brevard and Conserving Carolina) This first-time event provides a challenge of riding multiple laps in Bracken Preserve within a 3 hour window. Riders are asked to get sponsors to donate either a fixed amount or on a “Per Lap” basis. Registration is $35.00 and adults are asked to try to collect $100 in pledges, and students are asked to try to collect $50 in pledges. The event starts at the Brevard Depot on Railroad Avenue at 8:30AM and finishes at 12:00PM (Noon) back at the Depot. Lap point on the trail is at the Bracken and Brushy Creek intersection - so a half hour is allocated for getting to and back from that intersection. Ride is either as an individual or a relay with no more than 3 people. The ride will be in one direction only, and offer either a single lap turning at Mackey, or a double lap turning at the Bench and down Pinnacle trail. Registration includes lunch at 185 King Street (Extra tickets for family will be $10.00 per person) Come on out for this special ride of your favorite trail system! There will be a few categories and prizes for those who generate the largest pledge total and those who can do the most laps - however - this is a FUN ride to celebrate Bracken Preserve and make your mark by helping to add more trails for beginners, seniors, families and visitors. After the ride we will meet back at 185 King Street for the Brackenfest After Party. There will be music by bike enthusiasts Ray Adams of Sycamore flats and Haley Beaupre and a silent auction with items donated by local businesses that want to see this project happen!
